City Transformation Think Tank
The City Transformation Think Tank recruits key ministry leaders to listen to pastors and leaders in city churches. This think tank informs a knowledge base for developing a city and minority approach to theology, homiletics, and hermeneutics. It focuses on incorporating biblical themes of social justice and ethnic perspectives in sharing the Gospel. The think tank also strategizes on current and future needs of urban populations, informs conference topics, and develops new major and minor options for the Preaching for City Transformation concentration.
Cohorts
The Preaching Institute will leverage relationships with the Think Tank to recruit minority pastors and leaders to participate in regional focus groups and activities. These cohorts will form primarily online communities for a year, going through mentorship programs to learn effective preaching for unity and addressing community challenges. Participants will continue their education at NCU through traditional programs or certificate programs, building support communities and sharing knowledge.
